The tour takes us towards the city of Bra, in the heart of Roero area, in that corner of Piedmont where the woods give way to vineyards. A baroque town with picturesque corners and old traditions. Moreover, it is the place of birth of the famous philosophy of the “Slow” way of life, Slow Food.
The walking tour focuses on the streets with curious names, the churches of the "the whites", a renowned historical café... Free time to enjoy some delicious snacks in the centre. The tour will continue in the afternoon in Pollenzo, a town of Roman origin, home to the International University of Food and Wine.
The last stop of the day will be at the Castle of Monticello d'Alba, owned by the Roero family since the Middle Age. Visiting such an authentic noble residence is truly surprising, isn’t it?
