LANGHE TOUR BY BUS: ALBA, GRINZANE CAVOUR CASTLE AND THE HILLS

A full day to get to know the area of Langhe. The starting point is the main town of the area: Alba. Its streets and alleys tell us a long story that started in the Neolithic, developed in the Roman Age and continued through the Middle Ages. You will see a rich cultural heritage that includes noble families’ towers, St. Domenico Church, St. Lorenzo Cathedral, the surprising S. Maddalena church and the not to be missed altarpieces painted by Macrino D’Alba.
After a small break the tour continues by bus, towards some of the most well-known villages among the Unesco hills heritage area. An impressive landscape made of breath-taking vineyards and charming villages, the beauty of the work of nature and the work of men. Stops during the tour will include La Morra Belvedere, one of the best Langhe viewpoint, and Grinzane Cavour for the visit of the iconic Castle.
Late afternoon: return to Alba
