Alba, a city that will surprise you for the stories of its successful entrepreneurs and its beautiful architecture that crosses several centuries, from the Neolithic to the Romans, from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance and the Baroque. But the "king" of the city is without doubt the white truffle, the protagonist of the International Truffle Fair, together with the "queen" chocolate. Did you know infact that Nutella was invented and is still produced here?
And we cannot forget to mention the importance of Alba and the villages in the surrounding during World War II, when the Partigiani fought on these hills. Their stories were written, among the others, by Beppe Fenoglio.
