Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, you will head towards Murazzano, one of the highest municipalities in Langhe (with an elevation of 749 m a.s.l.). Being one of the access routes to Liguria, the Saracens and various invaders, including Napoleon Bonaparte passed through Murazzano. In this regard, you will admire its picturesque square tower: an ancient bulwark built against the frequent raids and incursions. Thanks to its position, Murazzano offers a beautiful view of a large part of the Alpine chain, from Mount Rosa to the Ligurian Alps. Your tour will continue with a stroll in the old town centre and a guided tour of a small cheese factory producing the famous Murazzano DOP cheese. On the way back you will stop at Borgomale, a typical village of the Langhe region. Your guide will show you its old town centre with its imposing castle perched on a hill dominating the stream Bern, the St Eusebius the Martyr Parish Church (la Chiesa Parrocchiale di Sant’Eusebio Martire) and the Municipal Wine Shop with its charming "Crutin", that is small cellars dug into the tuff, once used for storage by Langa farmers.
